We are Howard East Neighbors.
Brookland neighbors, nearly all of whom knew next to nothing about zoning and development rules before organizing. We are schoolteachers, federal employees, TV producers, consultants, and a lawyer. None of us stand to make any money off of our advocacy against the FLUM amendments.
We aren’t against development, just in favor of legally binding community input through a small area plan.
